This is a Lightweight/Midweight Hoodie. It will not stand up on its own. If you hold it up, the fabric will drape and flow rather than holding a stiff shape. The raw hem usually hits right at the waist. This item was practically invented to be worn with high-waisted leggings or bike shorts. The crop ends exactly where the waistband of high-rise leggings begins, creating an hourglass illusion.

Because it is thin (6.5 oz), you can wear a denim jacket or leather moto jacket over this hoodie without looking like a marshmallow. Because it has a drop shoulder, it already looks "oversized" in the arms. If you have a longer torso or want it to cover your belly button when you raise your arms, size up. If you want the true cropped look showing a sliver of skin, stick to your true size.
