Because it is an 8.5 oz midweight, it is thin enough to fit under a tailored overcoat or a leather jacket without "bunching up" under your arms.

Soft-Washed: It is treated with industrial softeners during production, meaning it won't have that "crunchy" or stiff feeling of a brand-new, cheaper sweatshirt. To keep that "ultra-soft hand" feel, always wash in cold water and tumble dry on low heat. The 100% cotton face is prone to slight shrinking if you blast it with high heat in the dryer.

This hoodie is defined by its 3-end fleece construction, which is a higher-tier manufacturing method than standard 2-end fleece. Most hoodies use two yarns; this uses three. The third yarn is a "tie" yarn that stays on the inside, allowing the outer face to be 100% cotton. It features a 3-panel hood (which fits the head more naturally than the standard 2-panel "pointed" hood), flat drawcords, and silver grommets for an elevated, clean look. Unlike boxier "dad" hoodies, this one is designed to look intentional and polished.
